The cheapest advertised “from” rate is rarely the amount a new customer pays. It may require a large commitment, a lower-cost geography, or a temporary discount. Compare the minimum charge, effective rate for the required location, renewal rate, targeting surcharges, and traffic-expiry policy.

The maximum sticky duration is a requested TTL, not guaranteed uptime. A gateway cannot keep a phone, modem, peer application, or carrier-assigned IP online after the underlying connection disappears.
The manual-control column also distinguishes two different actions. Changing a shared session asks for another available pool peer. Resetting a dedicated mobile connection triggers an upstream network action.

“Unlimited concurrency” does not mean unlimited throughput. A shared gateway can distribute requests across many peers, while a dedicated modem still has one radio link. Increase concurrency gradually and measure error rate, latency, and effective throughput against the actual target.
Dedicated vs. Per-GB Mobile Proxies
Choose a shared per-GB mobile pool when:
- Requests are independent and can rotate frequently.
- You need many countries, cities, carriers, or ASNs.
- Traffic volume is low, variable, or easy to budget.
- A large peer pool matters more than retaining one upstream connection.
- Per-request rotation is more important than a manual modem reset.
Choose a dedicated mobile product when:
- A small number of long-running identities need a consistent upstream.
- You need a dashboard control, API, or rotation URL that resets a particular connection.
- Monthly transfer would make traffic billing more expensive than a flat connection fee.
- Device-style controls or confirmed nonstandard protocol behavior matter.
- Your location is available in the provider's usually smaller dedicated inventory.
A simple financial break-even estimate is: `dedicated monthly price ÷ pooled price per GB = break-even GB`
At IPRoyal's published entry prices, `$130 ÷ $6.80/GB ≈ 19.1GB`. That arithmetic does not make the products technically equivalent. The dedicated service provides one managed mobile link with a daily usage limit, while the pooled service provides access to many mobile peers and meters aggregate traffic.

Does 5G Support Make One Mobile Proxy Provider Better?
Not by itself.
Every provider in this comparison advertises both 4G and 5G inventory. That does not mean every endpoint is always on 5G, that a customer can select 5G for every request, or that a target website can verify the radio technology behind a public IP.
The target usually sees the public IP, ASN, approximate location, TCP/TLS behavior, headers, cookies, and the rest of the application fingerprint. It does not receive a reliable “this request used 5G” flag. A 4G device and a 5G device on the same carrier may also exit through the same CGNAT infrastructure.
For ordinary web testing and authorized data collection, prioritize:
1. Whether the exit belongs to the intended mobile ASN or carrier.
2. Whether the requested country and city have enough live inventory.
3. Whether a sticky session remains stable for the full workflow.
4. Whether an unavailable peer is replaced silently or returns an error.
5. Whether the required protocol and destination port are supported.
6. The measured success rate and latency against the exact target.
If the objective is to measure 5G radio latency, throughput, handover, or application behavior under real network conditions, use physical devices or a device farm. A remote proxy does not expose or reproduce every property of the underlying radio link.
How Did We Evaluate These Mobile Proxy Providers?
This is a documentation-verified market comparison, not a claim that Proxidize ran one simultaneous speed benchmark across every provider.
We reviewed each provider's current product page, pricing page, technical documentation, trial and refund terms, and KYC or verification policy. We favored official product and policy pages over provider-authored comparison posts. When two first-party pages conflicted, we disclosed the conflict or used the more conservative interpretation.

Evaluation Criteria
1. Product clarity: Does the provider clearly distinguish shared traffic access from a dedicated connection?
2. True entry cost: What must a new customer actually pay, rather than the lowest enterprise or promotional “from” rate?
3. Coverage and targeting: How many geographies are claimed, and can customers select country, city, carrier, or ASN?
4. Rotation controls: Does the mobile product support per-request, timed, manual, and sticky behavior?
5. Session semantics: What is the maximum requested TTL, and does the provider replace a failed peer or return an error?
6. Protocols: Are HTTP(S), SOCKS5, UDP, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, or QUIC explicitly supported on the mobile product?
7. Operational limits: What concurrency, bandwidth, expiration, fair-use, restricted-target, and port rules apply?
8. Commercial friction: Is there a usable trial, a refund window, and mandatory or conditional KYC?
9. Independent reputation: What do G2, Trustpilot, and specialist reviews show, how large is the sample, and does the platform display an integrity warning?
Provider-reported pool sizes, speed, uptime, and success rates remain vendor claims. Vendors can count IPs over different time windows and test different targets, making those figures unsuitable for a direct ranking without a controlled independent test.
How to Read the Third-Party Ratings
- Ratings were captured on July 29, 2026 and will change as reviews are added or removed.
- Review counts matter. A 5.0 score from four reviews carries less evidence than a slightly lower score from hundreds of reviews.
- G2 and Trustpilot profiles cover the company, not necessarily the specific mobile proxy product.
- Trustpilot currently displays guidelines-breach notices for DataImpulse and IPRoyal and withholds their ratings. Those notices are disclosed rather than ignored.
- Proxyway is a focused industry publication and performs relevant tests, but its pages may include affiliate links.
- Individual reviews are anecdotal. Use recurring themes to form test questions, then verify them against the exact plan and target.
A Practical Pre-Purchase Test
Run the same lawful workload through every finalist for at least several hours and record:
- Successful responses divided by total attempts.
- Median, 95th-percentile, and 99th-percentile latency.
- Unique IPs, ASNs, carriers, cities, and countries actually observed.
- How often a sticky session changes before the requested TTL.
- Whether a failed sticky peer is replaced or returns an error.
- Data billed for the same successful responses, including retries.
- Concurrency at which latency or errors increase sharply.
- For a dedicated service, the time from a manual rotation request to a genuinely different IP.
- Support response quality when a carrier, ASN, or session does not behave as documented.
Test the exact target, geography, carrier, protocol, and time of day that matter. A provider can perform well for one country and target but poorly for a specific carrier or website. An aggregate success-rate claim will not reveal that difference.

1. Choose the Billing Model Before the Brand
Estimate monthly traffic and decide whether the workflow needs access to many peers or one controlled upstream. Comparing dollars per GB with dollars per monthly connection before making that decision produces a false price ranking.
2. Define What “Rotation” Must Mean
Use automatic per-request rotation for independent requests. Use a sticky session for multi-step journeys that must retain one exit. Use timed rotation when identity should change at known intervals. If an operator or application needs to reconnect a specific upstream, select a dedicated product with an explicit button, API, or rotation URL.
3. Specify Session-Failure Behavior
Ask whether the provider silently replaces an unavailable peer. Replacement increases request completion, but it can invalidate a stateful workflow. A strict session that returns an error is safer when continuity matters more than completing the next request.
4. Verify Live Carrier Inventory
A provider can advertise 195 countries and still have thin inventory for the exact carrier or city required. Ask for a live availability check or begin with the smallest test. If the interface exposes only ASN, map the carrier to its ASN and confirm that the ASN filter can be combined with the required location.
5. Treat 5G as a Secondary Filter
Confirm mobile ASN ownership, carrier accuracy, and pool depth first. Ask whether 5G is selectable or simply present somewhere in the network. Use physical devices when the test depends on real radio performance.
6. Confirm Protocol Support on the Mobile Product
SOCKS5 does not automatically mean UDP. SOAX explicitly supports mobile UDP and QUIC. DataImpulse enables UDP after approval. Proxidize documents UDP over SOCKS5 for its mobile service. Decodo's mobile SOCKS5 is TCP-only. Verify destination-port restrictions before purchasing.
7. Read Trial, Refund, KYC, and Expiry Terms Together
A trial may require a payment method, convert automatically, or remove refund eligibility. A pay-as-you-go product may still expire monthly. A provider can allow ordinary web traffic with basic screening but require identity and use-case verification for UDP, sensitive targets, or custom ports.
8. Treat MCP as a Management Interface
The official Proxidize MCP server lets compatible, authorized AI agents help rotate IPs, change locations, inspect usage, review analytics, and manage access points through natural-language requests. That can reduce operational work for teams using MCP clients, but it does not change the underlying network inventory, sticky-session behavior, or performance. Test those fundamentals separately.
9. Use Residential Proxies When Mobile Is Unnecessary
Mobile traffic usually costs more than residential traffic. If the target does not require a mobile carrier and the workflow only needs broad rotating geography, a residential pool may be more economical.
